OVERVIEW
This guide to replace a damaged microphone.
Step 1 – access door
Loosen the two Phillips screws to your iMac door access.
The screws are captive inside the access door. Remove the access door.
Step 2 – flange
Remove the screws at the bottom of the iMac: 6 three T8 Torx screws 8 mm Torx T8
Step 3
Connect your iMac support on a flat surface side. To raise the flange of the coast of the iMac, at the same time: use thumbs on arm RAM keep the iMac. Use your index fingers to pull the little bridge of material on the front panel toward you. Lift the front panel with finger index. Step 4

Step 5
If necessary, remove the tape covering the connector on the cable of the microphone. Microphone connector is located on the top edge of the iMac.
Step 6
Disconnect the microphone cable. Disconnect the camera cable by pulling the connector from the connector of the Council Chamber.
Camera cable connector and the socket are delicate and easily bent. Carefully remove.
7-Camera bracket
If necessary, remove the pieces of tape that covers the camera Board.
Don’t forget to send a new application to the band with the card in the camera to avoid short circuits.
Step 8
Use a spudger to replace ribbon cable Chamber leaving Rabat. Return to the tab on the front of the bezel. Use the tip of a fragment of spudger ribbon cable from the camera to your decision of the Council Chamber.
Step 9
Rather than hold down bolts, the jury of the camera is supported by a black plastic bracket attached to the collar. In the next step, you become two black card camera (marked in red) clips to release the bezel.
Step 10
Use thumbs to turn simultaneously the two tabs on the retention of the Board of Directors of the Chamber while pushing the party Council and the other with the index fingers. Remove the card from the camera of the flange.
Step 11 – microphone
Use a spudger to remove the bumper of foam covering the microphone.
Step 12
Use the flat end of a spudger to lift the microphone off the coast of the adhesive
