Step 3
When there is enough space to grab the bottom of the front panel,
Lift the body of the touch for the adhesive along the left and right edges to the top. If the adhesive is too difficult to remove, use a heat gun to soften it before continuing.
Step 4
Due to the construction of the fourth generation, touch, cable converter can not be disconnected until the logical adapter is removed. Be very careful when handling the front panel, as it joins the rest of the touch the delicate digitizer cable. In addition, the data of the cable is very short and is connected to the logic board in the top of the front panel of the set. If this is not disconnected while releasing the upper edge of the front panel of the installation, be sure to disconnect with an iPod tool before the front of distance. Be careful, the speaker is in the area shown in the photo. It is connected with very short and fine wires. There is a very thin ribbon cable that connects the volume buttons and the power of the logic board. Try to work around that area as to not tear the cable. It is extremely fragile. This wire will tear easily if you are not careful. To get a better idea where is the cable, please click “See huge” in the upper left part of the image.
Step 8

You can do this by using a hair dryer or hot air gun. Once you have recovered your device, it is common to get a screen white when powered up for the first time. All you have to do is a hard reset and that should fix it. Check that the ribbon cable is not pressed between the LCD and the metal plate. Double back on itself so that it is not binding.
