Nintendo DSi Motherboard Manual Replacement Guide
A guide to replace the base plate of the Nintendo DSi.
Step 1 – battery
Loosen the two captive screws from the battery Panel and lift the Panel off.
Place a spudger (or nail) on the top of the battery (about the L key) and lift to remove the battery.
Step 3: Assembly of small
Two screws are hidden under the red highlighted in two rubber feet.
Use the tip of a spudger to lift the rubber foot on the bottom of the case. In the same way, remove the is standing outside the small.
Remove the screws holding the tiny body of the ISD:
6 5.2 Mm Phillips screws.
A 2.7 mm Phillips head screws.
Insert the flat end of a spudger between the case and the lower front Panel near the top right of the DSi. Carefully run the spudger along the right bank of the ISD, creating an opening in the
process. I continued by running the spudger along the back of the DSi, up to the majority of children was separated from the bottom panel.
Carefully lift the small of its lower edge. Lowercase is still connected to the base plate by volume and the SD card cable highlighted in red. Step 9 – Board battery flip the black latch up and disconnect the cable from the D-Pad/switch tape.
(With the red and black wires) power connector is difficult to remove without damaging them, unless you take a moment and understand how it works. Look at the pictures of this step before continuing.
The connector is of two parts – a piece of white ‘man’ (connected cables) and a part of ‘woman’ beige (soldier to the base plate).
There is a small “notch” on the female side, to give you a place to insert a flat head screwdriver. Place the corner of your driver there and gently rotate to lift the white part (far main map). Do not try to pull it to the right (to the map of the batteries). If not release easily, use a small screwdriver. You could pull the base of the plateau, which is difficult to repair.
Step 11 – Cables motherboard
If you don’t have it already does, disconnect the Ribbon wires under – LCD on the main card by looks up the black latches and pulling the cord on the side. Cable (indicated in blue) Ribbon for touch screen is particularly fine and fragile; Be sure not to bend, is more than necessary. Lift the latch and remove the cable from the touch screen. Lift the latch and disconnect the cable from the screen in the high band. Lift the Orange cable disconnect on the main card, as well as the Wi – Fi antenna cable from module. Do not pull the Orange cable that attaches to the bottom of the base plate.
Step 12: motherboard
Remove the 4 screws from the Board. Lift the bottom main panel and turn it over to reveal the last connector. Save the file from the master card quite narrow, taking care not to damage the last cable that hold in place.
Disconnect the ribbon cable gently using a tool to open the plastic lift the latch on the black connector. The cable must slide easily
