Motorola Droid 2 Motherboard Installing Manual Guide

OVERVIEW
Follow this guide to replace your broken Droid 2 or malfunction of the motherboard
Step 1 – battery
Slide the battery cover on the bottom of the phone. Remove the battery cover on the back of the phone.
Step 2
Lift the battery out of the edge nearest the bottom of the Droid 2 phone. Remove the battery and the Droid 2.
Step 3 – the back case
With the tip of a spudger, peel a corner of the Ribbon of silver in the battery compartment. Remove the tape from the phone.

Insert the flat end of a spudger and lift the plastic cover from the phone’s camera. Thin plastic cover is connected to the phone with
an adhesive. Work slowly and carefully.
Step 5
Use the tip of a spudger to remove the camera attached to the rear bezel
case.
Step 6
Remove the seven screws Torx T5 5.5 mm to posterior fixation of box
the internal matter.
Step 7
Insert the flat end of a spudger and lever down to release the
plastic tab holding the rear unit base plate screw.
Step 8
Carefully insert a spudger between the back of the case and forward to the
top phone, closing the socket audio. Remove the cap of the rear enclosure of the rest of the phone.
Step 9
Con el spudger siempre insertada entre el caso atrás y adelante, arrastre el spudger a lo largo del borde derecho de la unidad, bajando, seguro de miradas indiscretas, como vas. Continuar haciendo palanca en la parte inferior de la unidad de derecha a izquierda, liberándola de la fachada.
Paso 10

De-Route el cable de antena por sacar clips de metal a lo largo del lado de la caja frontal.
Paso 13
Pelar la goma hoja negra que cubre el botón lateral y mostrar la cinta de opciones en los conectores de la placa base.
Paso 14
Desenchufe el conector del botón botón/volumen de su zócalo en la placa base con el extremo plano de un spudger.
Paso 15
Desconecte la pantalla de cinta de conector su zócalo en la placa base con el extremo plano de un spudger.
Paso 16
Use el extremo plano de un spudger para quitar el plástico negro pequeño
pieza pegada en el conector de la batería.
Paso 17
Retire el montaje de tres tornillos Torx T5 3.8 mm de la placa base

Step 18
Carefully lift the base plate with the front case and place it next to the Droid 2, the connector of the keyboard that is still attached to the guard.
Disconnect the connector from the keyboard to scroll up the Pocket in the base plate. Remove the baseplate the Droid 2.

Replacement Motorola Droid Bionic Screen withdigitizer Guide

1. Open Case 2. Take away Battery, SD Card, SIM Card 3. Take away eleven screws around perimeter 4. Peel back sticker from under battery 5. Take away back of phone6. Remove SIM board from mother board 7. Disconnect three ribbon cables 8. Separate mom board from display screen assembly 9. Take away LCD show from display assembly 10. Separate glass/digitizer from high frame11. Change glass/digitizer and re-assemble

Step 1 – Display with digitizer
Open Case, take away Battery, SD Card, andSIM Card

Step 2
4 Take away eleven T5 Torx screws aroundperimeter

Step three
Peel back label half manner, far sufficient toexpose shields from the motherboard.There also is a white barcode sticker thatwill keep the back from coming off.The spudger instrument works nice for lifting theedge of the stickers to get a finger hold.The labels will be simply lifted and replacedwithout damage.

Step four
Remove two T5 Torx screws and removethe SD/SIM card board.There’s a black plastic spacer bar betweenthe two screw lugs that may also beremoved.

Step eight
Separate the glass from the frame.The 2 are caught together with doublestick tape. Be careful in prying them apartbecause the body seems fragile. Theblue plastic opening tools work well.Slip the brand new glass/digitizer’s two ribboncables by means of the holes in the frame andstick the new glass to the frame.There are additionally rubber gaskets around eachopening within the glass.
