Step 1 – battery

OVERVIEW
Use this guide to help you replace the fan on a Dell Inspiron 1525.
Step 1 – battery
Locate the battery output switch on the bottom of the laptop.
Step 2
Slide the battery out the lock symbol until you hear a click battery. Slide the battery pack toward the back of the portable version.
Step 3 – Central control cover
Remove the two 4.00 mm screw Phillips #1 the tray battery.

Lift the cover of the Central control along their edges. Do not completely remove the cover, as it is still connected via a ribbon cable.

Step 5

Step 6 – keyboard

Release the ribbon cable in the upper-left corner of the laptop from the retaining tabs. Use a spudger to disconnect the speaker connector at the top in the center of the laptop. De-Route the speaker from its retaining tabs wire.
Step 21
Use the flat end of a spudger to start the capital of the elevation of its front edge. Lift the front edge of the box until it comes free.
Work slowly and be sure not to get all wires in the guides and the holes in the top of the helmet.
Step 22-ExpressCard cage
Eject your ExpressCard or ExpressCard powder if you want to transfer to the new ExpressCard cage. Eject the card by pressing until it clicks, release and then drag. Remove the 3.80 mm Phillips #1 screws the ExpressCard cage. Remove the mm two 3.70 Phillips #1 screws from the ExpressCard cage. Lift the ExpressCard cage connector.
Step 23 heat sink
Loosen five #1 Phillips screws that secure the heat sink and clean with compressed air, these screws are attached to the heat sink assembly. Gently lift the heat sink from the part that is shown in the image. The heatsink can feel is stuck on the tabs by the thermal paste. Gently move the heat sink to help release it. Be sure to clean the old thermal paste and apply new thermal paste before you reinstall the heat sink. Follow our guide for the application of thermal paste detailed instructions.
Step 24 – base plate
Use a spudger to push the control button central connector for the cable retainer. Remove the connecting cable.
Step 25
Pull the latch attachment cable wireless sniffer. Remove the cable from the connector.
Step 26
Disconnect the fan cable connector by pulling the fan with a spudger.
Step 27
Remove the four 3.70 mm #1 securing plate base to the bottom of the case. Gently remove the front panel. Lift the motherboard on the merits of the case.
Step 28 – Fan
