Replacing the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX01 Camera Lens

Step 1 – Battery
Locate the memory card and battery card latch on
the underside of the camera.
Slide the latch to the open position.
Step- 2
Open the battery latch, and slide the battery launch
lever to the right.
Step- 3
Remove the battery from the camera.
If you’re changing the battery, then insert a brand new
Panasonic CGA-S005A battery. In any other case, go away the
battery out as you proceed to disassemble the
camera.
Step 10 – Entrance Casing
Remove the two black 5.35 mm screws that maintain in
the front faceplate.
There may be a third screw the the right of
the lens assembly.

Remove the glass entrance panel to entry your Contact’s internals.
Step 1 – Entrance Panel
The glass front panel on the second era Contact has a plastic frame glued each to its periphery and in addition beneath the large black strips on the top and backside of the device.
The frame also has a rubber strip that surrounds the edge of the glass panel.
The image at left (front panel already removed),exhibits the places of the metal clips (shown in purple)
that snap on to the plastic frame. In the next few steps, attempt to pry the entrance panel up from the gaps
between these clips.
Additionally, be mindful of the very skinny and delicate touch screen ribbon cable (connector location shown in orange) attaching the front panel to the upper left nook of the Touch.
Step 2
Gently insert an iPod opening instrument between the glass entrance panel and its plastic encompass near the quantity
control buttons.
Rotate the tool away from the Contact to pry up on the glass panel. The bottom line is to work slowly and gently to
avoid breaking inner components.
If you are having difficulties using a plastic opening tool. You might try a razor blade, we found it easier to release the clips with one. Please be extraordinarily careful should you take this route!
Step- 6
Pry up the entrance panel alongside the right edge using the tactic described in earlier steps.
Finally work across the total perimeter of the front panel until it’s lifted barely from the rear panel.
Also, be sure that the plastic encompass is separated from the clips in the rear panel.
Step eight
Use the flat end of a spudger (or a gap software) to pry the touch screen cable connector up off the
upper logic board.Now that the entrance panel is out, test it for damage. If the plastic encompass shouldn’t be flush with the entrance face of the glass panel, gently peel it off and stick it down.
Watch out not to scratch the front panel on the underside of the black portions, as the scratches will likely be seen as soon as the device is reassembled.
Be sure to clean both the face of the display and the inner floor of the front panel, as any dust or fingerprints shall be trapped inside the Contact as soon as it is fully reassembled.
